Catching Up | Trent & Ivy
Ivy playfully rolled her eyes at him, “Oh hush. You know deep down you love it.” She chuckled and grinned back at him, “Me too, that’s what friends are for, right? To make hell somewhat bearable.” She smiled when he poked her nose. Everything felt so familiar, like old times when they hung out. It was nice for once to not feel anxious. She nodded her head, “Max is the big brother of the Asylum and tries to help everyone out. Lia is the resident heroin addict. She’s cool, but something’s changed in her recently. I dunno.” She shrugged again. “But those two no what it’s like to have fun.” She declared with a nod of her head. She shoved him lightly, “Sure it is, Trent.” She retorted to his comment. She ran a band through her own hair, “No, not really. Only Icky, or Icarus, is. Will rapes patients, and Zac is a sarcastic but lovable asshole.”
He smiled, “Whatever makes you feel better, Ivy.” He shook his head, holding back the laughter threatening to bubble out of his mouth. Trent looked back up at her and realized this was the first time he had been genuinely happy, or content more like, in months. He had always had to check over his shoulder on the streets. He had never really been safe but now he was with Ivy. She was the only person he could trust and now she was here. “Wait, one of the security guards is a rapist? Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose?” He pulled his eyebrows together and looked at her incredulously. He couldn’t believe one of the people that were supposed to make this place safe was harming the patients.
Ivy was just smiling. She felt safe now that Trnt was here and more at ease. For once she had a real friend here. She let a small sigh of content escape from her lips. “I know this is horribly selfish of me to say, but I’m really glad you’re here. I really need a friend right now.” She picked her head up and softly kissed his cheek. She let out a sick laugh at his question, “It’s all fucked up here, Trent. Te doctors fuck us crazies as well. Honestly, I think this lace is making me worse. It’s breaking me.” A sad grin decorated her face

Ivy sighed and leaned into his gentle touch. She reached over and messed up his hair with her fingers before smiling. “You used to hate it when I did that.” she remembered with a chuckle. She crinkled her small nose at the incident, she was curious to no more, but she wasn’t going to push anything, he’d tell her when he’s ready. A small smile played on her lips, “It sucks here, it really does, I’m going to sugar coat it, but it gets better. At least I have you now!” She laughed at his last statement, “I’m sure one of the guards will give you some or one of the patients. Probably Max, or Lia. She has every drug, or she did until this new prick of a guard decided to take his job seriously.” She laughed and shook her head to the side, “I’m rambling aren’t I? I’m sorry.”
Trent moved his hand up to swipe hers away and fix his hair. “Still not a big fan.” He said, “touch it again and you lose a finger.” He grinned and then felt his face fall immediately. “I’m glad I can make hell a bit better.” He winked playfully and nudged her shoulder. “Good thing. I met both of them today. They seem pretty cool.” He hated having to be here in the first place but if he didn’t get something to drink he was sure to go insane. “It’s okay, it’s cute.” He poked her nose and smiled lightly. “Is security here strict?” He was sure he was asking a lot of questions but he needed to know everything he could about the place that was his new home.

Patients?
I shall be holding patient check-ups daily, so be prepared. Your medical history, your physical medical history, is barely in any files. I plan to change that.
Ha, funny.
Catching Up | Trent & Ivy
Ivy felt her face light up once she saw Trent. She squealed when he picked her up. She wrapped her arms around him tightly. “Trent! I’ve missed you so much. I don’t really have that many people here to talk to, and it’s lovely to see a familiar face.” she grinned at him sweetly. She say down next to him and frowned at his question. There were a lot of answers to that, so she went with a short abrrigged version. “Fine.” She shrugged a bony shoulder before smiling up at him, “What about you, dear? What’s been new in your life?” She looked at him and felt some comfort yet fear. He was a reminder of home, she didn’t like him, but he had been her way of escaping the horrors of reality. He was there for her as much as he could be, and she was thankful for that.
He felt his heart become heavy in his chest when he heard a simple “Fine.” escape her lips. He wrapped an arm around her and kissed the top of her head, in a friendly gesture. They had always been good friends and little signs of affection like that were a norm. “I’ve been okay, I guess. On the streets a lot. Well, after the incident I was put in custody but now I’m here. Still in custody.” He glared around the small room that was to be his new prison. He glanced at Ivy and tried to pick out all the small things he noticed a change in. Her weight, her smile, her eyes. She looked more tired now. “So, what’s it like here? And are there any stashes hidden anywhere? I’m going to die without a bottle of Jack or something.”
Ivy sighed and leaned into his gentle touch. She reached over and messed up his hair with her fingers before smiling. “You used to hate it when I did that.” she remembered with a chuckle. Catching Up | Trent & Ivy
Ivy tied her long blonde hair into a side braid. She slipped into some jeans, which pretty much slipped just below her waist. She was losing weight again, that should make her happy, but it made her feel odd. She let out a long side while slipping into a black long sleeved sweater. She fiddled with her hands for a bit, unsure of what she was going to do. She was going to meet Trent, her friend from home, Jersey. He was her only friend, she told him about the things that went on in her home, and he was there for her as much as he could be, Ivy understood she wasn’t important and that he had shit in his life too. She sunk her teeth into her bottom lip before walking out of her room and slowly shuffling her way to Trent’s room. She rolled back on her heels before knocking lightly, “Trent.” She called out in a soft voice, “It’s Ivy.” She stuffed her hands in her pockets and waited for her old friend to open up the door.
Trent felt his heart beat anxiously as he waited to hear a knock on the door. He had put the few thing they had allowed him to bring away and the room looked bare. It’s better than the streets. He bit the inside of his cheek as he paced the room and looked around self-consciously. He didn’t know why he was stressing, this was Ivy. His best friend. He had no reason to be nervous, she was one of the sweetest girls he’d ever met. His head snapped up when he heard a knock on the door and her voice telling her who it was, as if he didn’t know. He grinned and opened the door to reveal the petite blonde. He noticed how skinny she was instantly and tried to hide the disappointment on his face. “Ivy!” he grabbed her up in a hug and lifted her into the air. “You have no idea how much I’ve missed you.” He put her down and looked around the room before gesturing to the bed and sitting down. “How have you been?”
Ivy felt her face light up once she saw Trent. She squealed when he picked her up. She wrapped her arms around him tightly. “Trent! I’ve missed you so much. So many new people.
Who knew there were so many crazies in the world. I’m Ivy.

C’mon
Quite fine. I’m running out of things to do and I just got a roommate.
That’s horrible! I still don’t have one.

Hello new and old people.
So I’ve heard. The “armpit” of America, so to say.
Sounds like a plan, babe. Name when and where and I’ll be there.
Yup, that’s my home. The lovely New Jersey.

I’m always free, I don’t have many friends here. They don’t like me, I’m too odd.
